Rev. Deacon Bryan John Giusti
Deacon Bryan was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Attending and participating in Church was always a vital part of his life since a young age, where he developed a deep love for scripture. Being in the “Lord’s House” was a big blessing for him in his formative years. In 1996, he graduated from Trinity International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible. Following graduation, he pursued additional studies at the University of Phoenix, graduating in 2000 with a Master of Arts in Organizational Management. For 20 years, he worked for the Fire Department as a Paramedic/Firefighter, and truly enjoyed this act of service.
In 2004, he married Cori Zachary at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Westland, MI, and was introduced to the Orthodox Christian Church. After extensive personal and parish studies, he was Chrismated that same year.
His love for the Church grew, and he was asked to serve as a leader in the Altar at Saint Mark. He served in this role, faithfully assisting and mentoring Acolytes. When challenged to consider Ordination to the Diaconate, he took up the calling and enrolled in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Permanent Diaconate Program, where he completed the 3-year intensive summer program.
Following completion, he was ordained to Holy Diaconate on January 8, 2017, by Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta and assigned to Saint Mark. He currently offers himself to the Church as a Deacon.
