Saint Kyricos and his mother, Saint Julitta, were early Church martyrs from the late third century. Saint Kyricos at the time of his martyrdom was only three years old, when he was thrown down the steps of the tribunal by the leader of the city of Tarsus after refusing to reject his Christian faith.
We are blessed at Saint Mark to bear the holy relics of this child martyr within our altar table. His relics arrived on February 22, 2014 during the Consecration of our sanctuary, and will reside there as a permanent intercessor for our Saint Mark Family.
